“Pulled a knife on me”- Darren Till reveals how his bromance with Khamzat Chimaev started

Khamzat Chimaev and Darren Till
Darren Till and Khamzat Chimaev made an appearance on The Triple C and Schmo show. The two talked about how they first linked up. The duo has been training together in Sweden in Chimaev’s gym. Darren was on a slump when Khamzat invited him to train together on Twitter. Till liked the idea and accepted since he felt he needed something extra in his training.
Henry Cejudo asked the two how they first met, which was jokingly met with “pulled a knife on me” from Darren. Khamzat added to this and let us in on how their bromance began. Chimaev talks about how he had heard Till might come and train with them from a teammate. Chimaev likes the idea and says that they sent each other messages on Instagram, where Chimaev asked if Till would be down to train in Sweden and Till replying positively. This led to Darren calling Chimaev and asking if he could train there with them and Chimaev responded “Welcome brother.”
The beginning of the bromance had given many looks at their training together. Instagram shows the two having intense training sessions together. Chimaev didn’t hold back during anything and looks like he has amazing cardio, a part of his fight game we haven’t seen yet as he’s finished all his fights early and with ease.
Darren Till and Khamzat Chimaev’s take on the Masvidal-Covington altercation
The two shared their thoughts on the Masvidal Covington situation. Darren says that he doesn’t really talk about anything outside the octagon, even when it came to Conor McGregor stuff, but he did share that Covington wasn’t a street guy while Masvidal definitely was.
The beef between them might not end soon. Co-host Henry Cejudo shared his two cents in the matter if the two has just met outside and something went down it would be fine, but it was a situation where “somebody is able to make a phone call to let you know that he’s there” it’s a different story. Chimaev remained mum throughout the matter.
