Derek Brunson imposed his will over Darren Till for three rounds and finally submitted him to get the fifth straight win at the main event of UFC Vegas 36.

Derek Brunson has been pretty dominant recently, he hasn’t lost a fight since he got knocked out by the champion Israel Adesanya back in 2018. Brunson has secured his positing among the elites of the middleweight division, and he is open to new adventures as well.

Talking to the media after his fight, he expressed his interest in competing in a boxing match against one of the Paul brothers, he said, “I could use a tune up with one of the Jake Paul brothers or something. Maybe Dana White will loan me to Triller, I could fight one of those guys or I could wait until Israel and Whittaker fight in early next year and fight in March or April. We have some options.”

Brunson was pretty fired up after submitting Till, and he called out the champion Israel Adesanya for a rematch. During the post-fight conference, Brunson stated that he wants to remain active, and a title eliminator would certainly be of his interest as well.

Cannonier isn’t completely off the table,” Brunson explained. “I’ve just been adamant about asking for the toughest guys in the division. I asked for Paulo Costa, the UFC sent him a contract, he didn’t sign it. If I would have got that fight, I would definitely be next for the title.”

Brunson has stacked up some impressive performances against some of the best guys in the division, and he believes he should be awarded for that, he said, “I’m doing all this work, I want to be rewarded. I’ve never got a title shot in my career.”
