Sean Strickland takes a dig at Israel Adesanya's gyno

Not many can boast the fact that they have never been caught consuming steroids. Sean Strickland is one of those fighters in the UFC. Not only is Strickland clean but he also takes a jab at the champion of the middleweight division, Israel Adesanya for developing gyno.

Recently Sean Strickland agreed to do an interview with MMA reporter The Schmo. The middleweight fighter showed up to the interview wearing his 25X USADA T-shirt. The t-shirt is a reward for not testing positive in 25 steroid tests done by the United States Anti-Doping Agency. Strickland spoke about him being clean and also his upcoming fight in the middleweight division.

While he was talking about the T-shirt, Strickland takes a jibe that despite the fact he takes pride in the 25X T-shirt, this probably doesn’t mean anything given a lot of fighters who are clearly on steroids [according to him] still haven’t been caught by the USADA or the UFC. “I dig it I am 25 times clean but as we can tell from [Israel] Adesanya and TJ [Dillashaw], this don’t mean anything,” said Strickland talking to the Schmo.

Strickland has been taking jabs at Israel’s rumored gyno for the past year. In his interview with Helen Yee last year in December, the middleweight fighter went on a full-on rant about how Israel was on steroids. “Israel is just a craft motherf**ker. We all know he’s on steroids. It probably helps his performance. We have all seen him fight with a t*tty that hung down. I mean, have you ever seen a man fighting in the UFC with gyno, from weed?” ranted Strickland.

Israel, however, has previously addressed this issue in the past and also is very open to talking about it. Adesanya also jokes about the rumors on his social media engaging in fan interaction. “So if I inject the steroids in my other tit. Will it get gyno too? Asking for a friend…” wrote Israel back in 2020 on his Twitter account.

In a recent picture that his teammate from City KickBoxing, Dan Hooker posted, fans were quick to bring up the fact that Adesanya’s right pec looked like he had gynecomastia. Adesanya is now scheduled to fight a title rematch against Robert Whittaker at UFC 271.
