Joe Rogan and Dr. Phil discuss the ongoing fentanyl overdose cases conspiracy including children’s candies. Dr. Phil is one of the most prominent faces on American TV and is known for his physiological advice.
During his appearance at the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’, Dr. Phil and Rogan talked about the fentanyl epidemic which is a severe matter in the US. While talking about the issue, Phill mentioned how the manufacturers are deliberately making these drugs in shape and color similar to candies. According to Phill, this will automatically attract kids who are gonna consume them thinking that they are just candies and are safe to eat however, in reality, they are extremely dangerous.
He said: “What they are doing now is that they are putting them in pastel colors, they are making them look like these candies that the kids get. Kids are gonna see these things around and pick them up and think they are like SweeTarts or whatever and bite into them.” in the podcast.
Rogan and Phill mentioned that during Halloween time parents should be extra careful about their kids going around and gathering candies from strangers as nobody knows what can happen.
Joe Rogan Experience producer Young Jamie mentioned that the Halloween conspiracy can be fake
Joe Rogan has always been talking about the bad effects of fentanyl and how it is the reason for various deaths. “The fentanyl epidemic that scares the shit out of me. It really does as people are accidentally dying of overdose,” said Rogan in the discussion with Dr. Phil.
A few minutes after the pair talked about the Halloween story, Rogan’s producer interrupted and mentioned that the theory could be fake. He pulled out a report by NPR revealing that there is no danger as such. Rogan read the report which suggested that the drug cartels are not targeting the children.
Phil bounced back and confirmed that he’s not implying that they are targeting the children but the color drugs can attract kids to try as they look like candies which ultimately is a threat.
Fentanyl is a highly powerful synthetic opioid that is up to 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine. The US is currently facing a huge crisis as the drug is a
major contributor to fatal and non-fatal cases of overdose. Recently, the US has sought the help of India to fight its ongoing Fentanyl crisis. According to reports, India being one of the largest pharmaceutical industries in the world can also play a critical role in tackling this problem.
