Dustin Poirier surprises his fans as he gives a big wild cat a lift in a car. Dustin Poirier is currently out there having the best time of his life chilling around in his free time. Last December, the fighter lost his second opportunity to get the lightweight title against Charles Oliveira. Since then, ‘The Diamond’ has been away from the action and now it seems like he’s desperate to get back.

Previously, Poirier’s name was linked with many fighters such as Nate Diaz, Conor McGregor, Colby Covington etc. But the UFC didn’t give green light to any of them. Recently the fighter put out a tweet which showed his eagerness to get back into the octagon.
The fighter wrote, “I want to fight.”

To this welterweight fighter, Gilbert Burns replied by saying ” 170?”. It seems like ‘Durinho’ is interested in fighting Poirier. It will be interesting to see if this fight takes any shape.

Poirier recently shared a picture on his official Twitter account. In the picture, the Louisiana native can be seen sitting inside a car alongside a big wild cat.

The picture was surprising as well as entertaining to see as Poirier captioned it with a motivational message. The fighter used this moment as a metaphor and explained that one needs to drive with fear. According to Poirier driving with a cougar inside a car is extremely frightening but it can be under control if you are calm. But if you lose your composure the cougar will do what he naturally does.
You’ve gotta learn to drive with fear. There ain’t nothin’ more frightening’ than driving’ with a live cougar in the car. If you’re calm, that wondrous big cat will be calm too. But if you’re scared, that beautiful death machine will do what God made it to do.”

Seems like Poirier wanted to share a life lesson with his followers by using this situation of him with the big cat. It’s hard to tell what the fans made out of this post but one thing that they are actually excited about is his return inside the octagon.
