Edson Barboza was never the one to shy away from the challenger, he has been through some incredible wars throughout his UFC career, and he is prepared for another one against Giga Chikadze at the main event of UFC Vegas 35.
Barboza won his last fight against the brawler, Shane Burgos, via TKO, and Chikadze is coming off from a TKO win against Cub Swanson. Barboza has made almost 25 walks in the UFC octagon, and he believes that this experience will certainly help him in this fight.
This match is going to be an absolute delight for the striking fans, and Barboza is more than excited for this one. Talking to MMA Junkie from the UFC Apex on Wednesday, Barboza said, “When I see this fight on paper, I know it’s gonna be a great fight. I know people are gonna watch this fight. I had to say yes to this fight because it’s gonna be a war.”

The fight takes place this Sunday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, and fans are really excited for this one as both of these fighters have produced some incredible spectacles throughout their career.
Both of them are currently chasing that featherweight title, but Barboza claimed that is not going to put up any extra pressure of himself, “My goal is to go out there and have fun,” Barboza said. “I know if I go out there and give my best, it’s gonna be a great fight. I never think about going out there, ‘I got to finish!’ You know? Because if I know I go out there and fight – bro, I have 25 fights in the UFC. All those fights I go out there and fight.”
