Nate Diaz- Eminem

All it needed was one opportunity to grab and when he did, Nate Diaz never looked back on his way to become one of the biggest megastars in UFC history. The grind was there since the 2000s but the fame got created and the legacy got cemented right after his biggest win at UFC 196 in 2016 against Conor McGregor, attributed to Diaz’s callout off the latter after his win over Michael Johnson after a year layoff in December 2015.

Diaz since then has been nothing short of money against anyone and at any time, preferably at 170 lbs now. In terms of global attention, Diaz’s magnitude has surpassed his elder brother Nick Diaz‘s prime time back as a Strikeforce Welterweight Champion. But besides being a megastar, Diaz has significant victories in his run as a UFC fighter over former world champions Anthony Pettis, Conor McGregor, former title challengers Gray Maynard, Donald Cerrone and veterans like Jim Miller and Melvin Guillard.

Nate Diaz gets mentioned in hip-hop pioneer Eminem’s new song “Gospel”

Mathers made the best of his feature on legendary music producer Dr Dre‘s new single titled “Gospel” and called out Stockton’s very own Nate Diaz in the lyrics of the song that goes like Nate Diaz got the world by the tracheas, in a chokehold and a sleeper.” The lyrics can be heard at the timestamp of 2 minutes and 30 seconds into the song.
