Chael Sonnen likes the listed celebrities who can be the presenter of the BMF title at UFC 291. The BMF title is a special type of belt which was introduced at UFC 244 and Jorge Masvidal won it by defeating Nate Diaz.

It was an interesting title which was loved by the fans and at UFC 244, it was the Rock who was given the responsibility to present the award. The belt is now getting resurrected after the retirement of Jorge Masvidal last month.

This time in order to present the belt, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mike Tyson and Triple H are in the talks and UFC superstar Chael Sonnen likes the idea. “Love this,” wrote Sonnen on Twitter after sharing the poster.

Sonnen also talked about the history and significance of the BMF belt on his new YouTube video. He said: “The BMF title is mysterious and it’s a real honor. We get to know who the presenter is we’ll get what’s on the line but as we start to find some rules that come around. It’s not linear which we understand but it’s also not divisional. Does that mean, whoever wins between Gaethje and Poirier maintains that status until retirement, that’s a question I don’t have the answer to.”  Sonnen like many other fans is confused on how the UFC will plan to circulate the BMF title which is a massive token of respect among fans.

Dustin Poirier doesn’t mind fighting for the BMF title but won’t be taking a huge pride in winning it

Poirier and Justin Gaethje are some of the most talented fighters in UFC history and have a reputation of being extremely violent. These two definitely deserve to fight for the BMF title given their history in the promotion. 

However, Poirier believes the BMF tag just acts as a fun addition to the fight and would like to have it on his personal collection. He said while talking to  Ariel Helani on the MMA Hour show: “This fight could headline without the ‘BMF’ title, but that just adds more fun to it for me. I would love to have that strap up there in my living room, another accolade…I’m not gonna walk around like I’m the undisputed world champion if I get this belt wrapped around my waist….I completed the triangle by beating him, Alvarez, Chandler, Conor…so we run it back for most violent, ‘BMF’, call it whatever you want.”

It’s definitely going to be an amazing fight given that both fighters have a huge fan base who are expecting a war. Even without the BMF title on the line,it is definitely one of the biggest main event bout of the year.
