In the much-awaited main event of UFC Fight Island 7, the former Featherweight champion Max Holloway stepped inside the Octagon against Calvin Kattar. Holloway is coming in this fight with a two-loss skid against Alexander Volkanovski and Kattar will look to extend his streak even more.

Round 1: Holloway started the round with a couple of jabs and Kattar counters with a low kick. Holloway circles him and hit inside leg kicks and one to one combination. Kattar jabs him with some of the leg kicks of his own. Holloway throws some of the heavy left hands.

Kattar lands a right but Holloway is looking flawless today, he lands sharp knees followed by his right hand and Kattar is down. A spinning kick to the body and round ends.

Round 2: Holloway continued the fury of his punches, he is proving to fast for Kattar. One more right hand from Kattar and Holloway is taking all the beating and landing much more shots in return. Kattar lands a solid right and Holloway punches him and Kattar is down again.

Kattar’s head busted open and Holloway is looking to capitalize but Kattar got saved by the bell.

Round 3: Holloway started the round again with his crazy striking and both of them traded punches in the center. Kattar fires a right hand and Holloway lands a combo on him. Holloway isn’t slowing down and Kattar’s face is dripped in blood. Another round ends in favor of Holloway.

Round 4: Kattar looked for a finish to win this one but Holloway landed his best shots nicely. Kattar got his back against the wall and Holloway landed some hard elbows but what the heck! Kattar isn’t falling down he took almost 10 shots from Holloway but he is still standing.

With 90 seconds left Holloway tries to transit into ground but Kattar survives.

Round 5: Kattar is still standing there is totally unbelievable. Holloway keeps his pace of punches and combinations and he passed more than 600 attempted strikes. Holloway is mocking Kattar now he is talking to the commentary team. He is still talking and flexing. The horn sounds.

Result: Max Holloway def Calvin Kattar via unanimous decision (50-43,50-43,50-42)
