MMA fighters react to Tyron Woodley mom being disrespected
There are a few unspoken rules in the MMA community and one of them is going after Tyron Woodley’s mom. Things get very personal between Tyron Woodley and Jake Paul after one of the crew members of Paul’s bad-mouthed Deborah Woodley.
UFC’s former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is taking on YouTube boxer Jake Paul on August 29th streaming on SHOWTIME. A fight against Paul guarantees trash talk and insults leading up to the fight but this time the YouTuber’s crew member crosses the line by disrespecting Tyron Woodley’s mom, who is loved by everyone in the MMA community. She is a sweetheart and shows great respect and affection to the fighters Tyron fights.
In the pre-fight press conference and the events leading up to that Tyron and Jake did not go easy at each other and let insults freely. Everything was all business in the press conference until a member of Jake’s crowd disrespected Tyron Woodley’s mom. Hell broke loose and both the entourages were on the brink of getting physical. A lot of fighters including Darren Till, Michael Chiesa, and Cris Cyborg defended Deborah Woodley.

Darren on Twitter questioned Ariel Helwani and announced it was going to be him and mama Woodley vs everyone. “The fact that @arielhelwani stood by and watched mama Woodley be disrespected just shows how much of a bad person he is… Me and mama Woodley v everyone…” Darren and Mama Woodley have a very special relationship as the kind woman embraced Till and showed him love after his fight against her son.
Even former UFC women fighter, Cris Cyborg came in defense of the former welterweight champion’s mother.
