In the UFC 270 Countdown show, Fernand Lopez discussed that he knows that Ngannou has improved a lot in the past few years and has become a force of nature. But according to the MMA coach If there is anyone who can put a stop to Ngannou’s domination, it is Ciryl Gane. “Francis Ngannou did improve but if there’s someone who can make him miss that’s Cyril Gane,” said Lopez

Stylistically the fight is very interesting as it’s a battle of power vs technique. The whole MMA world is well known for the brutal one-punch power of Ngannou and how he utilizes it perfectly. On the other hand, Gane is widely considered the best technical striker in the history of heavyweights. Lopez explained that Ngannou will have to depend on his power or it’s not going to end well for him. “There’s only one way to go for Francis Ngannou. It’s to rely on the power. If he doesn’t, he will get humiliated,” said Lopez.
