Joe Rogan not so long ago has been surrounded by a series of accusations that first include a series of accusations against him for spreading misinformation on the effectiveness of Covid vaccinations through his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience. Rogan was asked by the people of certain political stances to be stripped off Spotify, a music-cum-podcast platform that exclusively holds his podcast following which many famous musicians decided to take their music away from Spotify.

Now not so long ago, some of Rogan’s decade-old footage were surfacing on the internet for his racist remarks that involved using the word “N**ga”, a slang exclusive only to the black community. In his return, Rogan has already apologised to those who thought of him in a bad light for either accusation first. But the backlash has never stopped.

In return, all of the MMA community has surrounded Rogan with loads of support and have extended their criticism for those that are trashing Rogan for some decade-old videos. Not long ago, in UFC 271 pre-fight press conference, Israel Adesanya told the world how amazing of an individual Rogan is. Now, as the fight night goes, Toyota Center erupts in support of Rogan as reported by MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin. He tweets: “Chants of “Free Joe Rogan” have broken out at the Toyota Center in Houston.”

What do you make of this support to Rogan shown by the fans and attendees at Texas? What’s your take on the whole Rogan situation? It’s nice that people are backing someone who’s always got the back of the sport, even 30 years after its growth. Rogan is truly getting the respect he always deserved, only for his contribution as a legendary commentator.
