UFC gives away five contracts; Releases Tai Tuivasa

As the other sports are also beginning to start, UFC has organised many events till now after the Pandemic. UFC witnessed a very busy day yesterday. And aa per the roster, the schedule is going to be busy for quite some time.

It is usual at UFC that 0-2 fighters on The Dana White’s Contender Series take UFC contracts with them as well as the wins. It’s very rare to see more than that fighters taking but after this week all five winners got the double prize.

The day saw Impa Kasangany improving to 2-0 and overall 7-0 on the show. He has already a fight lined up for him on the August 22nd card. But with him other new middleweights have also came to the company. Dustin Stoltzfus improved to 13-1 gaining the Pennsylvania native a contract as well.

Besides that, White also said that featherweight T.J. Laramie and bantamweight Adrian Yanez will also be coming. Besides that, the Englishman Strawweight Cory “The Hobbit” McKenna also secured a contract.

UFC releases Tai Tuivasa

UFC has recently cut their ties with Ray Borg and Corey Anderson. Noe, in an another surprising event it has released the struggling heavyweight fan favorite, Tai Tuivasa. He had dropped 3 in a row after his first nine matches. This also made him slip out of rankings.

The announcement was first made by Tai himself on his social media. He has 8 KO wins out of nine and that too in the first round. So, he should not have much problem finding a new home.

After giving five contracts, Dana Whit said that the dates have not been locked up yet but the trip to Abu Dhabi will be a longer one. He further said that he expected it to be five or six weeks.
