“He should work in McDonald’s”- Tai Tuivasa suggests an alternate career path for Greg Hardy
Tai Tuivasa smacking Greg Hardy
Tai Tuivasa beat Greg Hardy in an octagon brawl last year and Greg wasn’t very happy about it. Greg wasn’t over it as of yet and made comments about Tai in the recent UFC presser before he lost to Sergey Spivak.
Greg called Tai a ‘Crybaby’ and a ‘Liar’ as he still believes that Tuivasa just landed a lucky punch and hyped more about it than what it actually was. Hardy was all set to face Aleksei Oleinik who is the best submission artist in the division but pulled out due to an injury. Sergey stepped in on a week’s notice and finished Hardy leaving no doubt for ‘luck’.
Tai Tuivasa was asked about Greg Hardy on ‘The MMA hour’ with Ariel Helwani to which Tai laughed heartily. Ariel: “He was still talking smack about you this past weekend…” to which Tai replied with a laugh and “How can he still be talking smack when he just got smacked again? He should be working at a … Fuc*ing McDonald’s or something!!”
Greg Hardy talked trash about Tai Tuivasa at 272 presser
Greg was still hung up on the Tai Tuivasa fight and says that Tai was just lucky and younger to get a K.O. like that and was also a ‘Crybaby’. Hardy also explains why he got clipped the way he did but also added that Tai would never fight him again. Probably because Hardy ain’t going to be around.
Brendan Schaub thinks that Greg’s career might be coming towards an end after his 3rd straight devastating loss in the octagon this past week against Sergey in the first fight of the main card. During an episode of The Schaub Show, the retired heavyweight assessed his fellow ex-footballer, saying:
“He lost to Tybura, which is a tough fight for him. Tai Tuivasa – clearly a very tough fight for him. And then lost to Sergey.” “I don’t know what they’re gonna do with him, I really don’t. It was a fun experiment. I know the UFC took some heat signing a guy with the baggage that came with this. I do believe in redemption. It’s a little tough when it comes to domestic violence.“
Schaub referred to his previous domestic violence as the ‘baggage’ he had and that the UFC signed him on as an ‘Experiment’, and that his time might have come to an end. What do you think?
