“He was quiet”- Kamaru Usman accuse Conor McGregor of dodging a title match against him

‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ Kamaru Usman recently talked about his thoughts on fighting the superstars of the fight game Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor on the weekly podcast with Shanon Sharp.
Usman said that he would never fight Khabib as he considers him to be like his ‘Brother’ and said that he had no interest in doing so. On the other hand, he talks about his offer to fight McGregor. Kamaru quotes Marvin Hagler who had a popular saying about luxury and Hustle.
Talking to Sharp, Usman said, “Once you start sleeping on silk sheets, the hustle is not the same.” Kamaru said that he did sympathize with Conor and gave him the benefit of the doubt, says that he might have been battling with his demons or got a lot going on, although adds that he might just have lost the ‘hustle’ since he’s already got what he wants.
He added that he gave Conor a chance to come take the belt from him before the Masvidal fight but he went silent after that. He said:
“So one time, before I fought [Jorge] Masvidal, he was tweeting a lot. I said, ‘Here’s your chance. If you pick up the phone right now and called the UFC, they ain’t not gonna say no to you to challenge for the belt.’ Then, he was quiet. And then the next week he started calling out Anderson Silva, retired fighters, and things like that. So would I fight Conor? The offer is there.”

Usman has had his share of tweet wars with McGregor in the past and has pretty much had the upper hand throughout it. Kamaru countered back with a pretty witty comeback tweet after Conor tweeted about picking apart Colby and Usman after he had noticed ‘Holes’ in their game.
After Conor tweeted that he would ‘Spark’ Kamaru and strip him off his belt, Kamaru instantly wrote back saying “Spark who?? You must be talking about that pipe you’ve been smoking.” and shut him up by adding that he’d call Diaz, Poirier or Khabib to finish him again.
“I gave him a chance, he was barking because that’s what he do now, he tweet a lot. We call him Twitter fingers now.” he added. What do you think about Conor coming back at 170lbs?
