UFC heavyweight kingpin Francis Ngannou enjoys street food in his home country of Cameroon

Francis Ngannou spends his recovery time chilling in Cameroon. Ngannou was born and raised in Batie, a small village in Cameroon. Growing up he suffered from poverty and family problems. At a young age, he decided to not end up a failure and started boxing.
At the age of 26, he left Cameroon and headed to Paris, France to pursue his professional boxing career. But things changed and he became an MMA fighter.
Currently, he is one of the biggest stars in UFC and has the reputation of being the hardest hitter in the sport. The ‘ The Predator’ defeated Stipe Miocic and got his heavyweight belt and in his journey has gained a humongous fan following.

Ngannou recently made a post on his official Instagram account. In the post, the heavyweight fighter shared some pictures of him spending time in Rte de Ngousso, Yaoundé, Cameroon.
In the pictures, Ngannou can be seen having a great time with some of the local street foods of Cameroon. Ngannou was enjoying his food while sitting among the normal people of Cameroon. He wasn’t surrounded by bodyguards or officials. For Ngannou it was the feeling of coming back home and experiencing everything like a normal person rather than a UFC superstar.
Along with all this, another major thing can be observed is the fighter’s new hairstyle. This time Ngannou has completely shaved his hair. Fans and followers didn’t let the hair thing go unnoticed and flooded the comment section with the remark. One user wrote, “New mythical fighter unlocked – Bald Francis “. Fans have also started spamming #BaldFrancis in the comments.
Currently, Ngannou is on a huge leave from his job of being a UFC fighter as he is recovering from his knee injury. At UFC 270, after defeating Ciryl Gane and defending his heavyweight title the fighter revealed his injury. According to Ngannou, during a sparring session, he got hurt and injured his ACL and MCL. But despite the injury, he decided to fight as he was there to prove his doubters wrong.
There are no official statements regarding the fighter’s comeback to UFC but given the injury, it might take him some more time. Fight fans are eagerly waiting for his return and future plans as he denied signing a new UFC contract.
