“Get PPV points this time”- Henry Cejudo suggests a Colby Covington-Jorge Masvidal rematch

Henry Cejudo on Jorge and Colby

Henry Cejudo recently appeared on Schmo’s podcast where he put himself if Colby Covington’s shoes and addressed what he would have done if he were to be in a similar situation of getting sucker-punched by Jorge Masvidal outside the octagon.

Colby Covington recently had an altercation with Jorge Masvidal in a restaurant in Miami where Jorge kept his words and sucker-punched him in the face and there were reports of his teeth being broken by the punch. There were no charges pressed after Masvidal was handcuffed and taken to the police station.

Henry Cejudo says “If I get sucker-punched, I’m really pressing charges, you know what I’m saying? Like really pressing charges I don’t care who you are cuz that’s just not cool.” Cejudo added that this time around probably Colby should ask for PPV points and make money by having a rematch against Jorge and defeating him again. That would be a better humiliation technique is what Cejudo thinks.

Schmo adds that they should probably put ‘The king of Miami’ belt on the line as well as the BMF belt so that the stakes would be higher than the first time, which would also attract more viewers. Henry agrees and adds later on the show that he’d still coach Masvidal like he said he would last time.

Henry Cejudo and Conor McGregor have been engaging in the war of words on Twitter which began when Henry called Conor out on training with his ‘Yes men’ and had a tip to offer about McGregor’s striking, after which Conor retaliated by calling Cejudo a ‘Little fart’.

The triple C has been eying for a comeback to the UFC for quite a while now while also offering to train and spread his knowledge but most of the fighters don’t seem to be interested in joining hands. Khamzat declined his offer too and said that he had good trainers already.

Conor on the other hand was taunted yet again and was told to ‘Slow down’ by Henry as he didn’t want him to get injured before their fight, to which Conor said “Mate. I don’t give to f*** about you. You are a nobody. Who the f*** even are you? You are a little skid mark to me, stop messaging me, thanks.” Conor is all set to make a comeback this summer and is eying a welterweight return. What do you think?
