Henry Cejudo, the former two-division champion, Olympic-winning wrestler has transitioned into a full-time MMA coach now. After taking some of the best fighters in the world under his wing, Khamzat Chimaev might soon train with Triple C too. In a recent tweet, Cejudo revealed that the “Smesh Bros” aka Khamzat and Darren Till will be appearing on the next episode of his podcast, “Triple C and Schmo Show”.

Cejudo wrote, “When the goat speaks you listen. Stay tune for the #triplecandschmoshow.” Chimaev being the troll he is, clapped back with a funny reply, and Cejudo’s response was surprising, to say the least. Henry is known for his banter online but this time the former champion gave out a genuine compliment in response to Chimaev’s troll.

Khamzat also revealed in a recent YouTube video that he will be looking to train under different coaches around the world and Cejudo’s name was dropped in the list. Chimaev is already one of the most complete fighters with elite wrestling. Collaborating with an Olympic wrestler is only going to make him scarier inside the octagon.

In response to Cejudo’s comment, Chimaev wrote, “I listened but I didn’t understand a thing, I got the best training already best [coaches]”. There is no doubt that spending time with the English fighter, Darren Till has helped Chimaev improve his wit. Cejudo was, however, humble enough to point out that he was only kidding and showed love to the fighter from Chechnya.

“I would never my brother. As I told you, you are special and it’s not the coaching that will make you, but your obsessive will. Just trying to share my knowledge,” wrote Cejudo in response. Chimaev is currently undefeated in his career and does not look like someone can stop him anytime soon.

However, he is faced with a difficult challenge ahead of him at UFC 273 as he steps into the octagon to fight Gilbert Burns. This fight could turn out to be very pivotal for the welterweight division as the winner of this bout is highly likely to challenge for the title next.
