Khamzat Chimaev, Darren Till train together, Michael Bisping shocked by their training
Yet again, Khamzat Chimaev makes the headlines for being a brutal lad, Bisping confirms by saying that the Khamzat hype just might be real as he hears some ‘Truly terrifying’ stories about him ‘training like a motherf***er’ from his friends in Sweden.
Michael Bisping on his YouTube channel said “I’ve got a bunch of friends out there in Sweden. They’re filming. Blockasset is a company I’m involved with. They’re calling me up and saying, ‘Holy f*** s***! Khamzat is the real deal!” Works his a** off, trains like a motherf***er, lifting weights, pushing everybody in the room. Great stand-up, great wrestling.”
Till and Bisping who have been in touch have been in awe of Chimaev, the way he trains, and how he just seems like a great prospect in the welterweight division. Brendan Schaub on the other hand claims that the Welterweight champ Kamaru Usman ‘Doesn’t want to fight Khamzat.’
Bisping also added, “Obviously Gilbert Burns is no walk in the park and that fight hasn’t been officially made yet but still he’s got to beat Usman before he moves up to 185lbs.”
Till and Gustafsson are outworked by Khamzat Chimaev
Alex Gustafsson on Khamzat: “He works harder than I ever worked. This guy doesn’t have anything else than the gym and fighting. This is what he eats, sleeps, and is doing all day long. In my prime, when I fought Jon Jones and those guys back in the day, I did three sessions a day, and I sparred 20 rounds every sparring session. My conditioning was crazy. But this guy, he outworks me. He doesn’t get tired.”
