Max “Blessed” Holloway is of 31 years, hailing from Hawaii having a record of 23-7. Holloway was a hidden champ that no one knew in the MMA community would go on to be a record-breaker. “Blessed” was very young when he joined the UFC roster.

Before approaching his career in MMA UFC Max Holloway went through a lot of struggles. His father left him and his mother when he was just 11. But when he got to 19, he already had a record of 4-0, which was the reason he got a UFC contract. It was a surprise call as he was still new in UFC.

At the age of 20 Max Holloway debuted in UFC which made him the youngest fighter on the roster. After like 6 bouts he was having a 3:3 ratio of win and loss. His win ratio questioned his ability and his contract was getting in danger. Holloway knew his situation, so he started his training more intensely.

After his 3rd loss, Holloway went on to defeat 9 fighters in a row but this win streak continued.  Later on “Blessed” won the interim UFC Featherweight belt and also got the Performance of Night award. After that, he defeated Jose Aldo and unified the featherweight belt.

Max Holloway career has had a fair share of ups and downs

Max Holloway’s MMA debut was in 2010 in X-1 World Events 36: Heroes where he defeated Duke Saragosa. Before entering UFC he got a 4-0 record. Then went to fight against Dustin Poirier on his debut at UFC 143: Diaz vs Condit—Max Holloway lost by Submission on his debut.

Then Comes his Winning Moment when he defeated Anthony Pettis for the Interim UFC featherweight belt in the year 2016. He won that fight by TKO. Next year he unified the UFC featherweight belt by defeating Jose Aldo. He defended his belt 3 times before losing it to Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 245.

Max lost 2 times against Volkanovski and to get the third fight he had to fight again 2 fighters which he won. After that Again on 3rd attempt he lost to Alexander Volkanvski which again created chaos. Now Max has to beat a 10-fight win streak Arnold Allen then his road will get clear for the title.
