“I apologize I counted you out”- Henry Cejudo eats his words about Calvin Kattar

The performance of Calvin Kattar last at last week’s Fight Night was outstanding and Henry Cejudo is all praise for the fighter.
Kattar fought Giga Chikadze at UFC Vegas 46 last Saturday and the fight was an instant classic. Nobody expected that the first UFC event of the year would be so entertaining. Going into the fight Kattar was the underdog due to his last loss against Max Holloway where Kattar was severely beaten up. On the other hand, Chikadze was the majority favorite. The Georgian was undefeated in UFC and had seven consecutive wins.
The fight was a bloody war between both the fighters and Kattar surprised the world by giving his career-best performance. The fighter was able to tackle the dynamic striking of Chikadze and kept him obeyed with constant takedowns. Along with that Kattar delivered some nasty elbows and finally won the fight via unanimous decision.

Cejudo and The Schmo released their new video on their YouTube channel where they discussed the amazing fight that took place at UFC Vegas 46. Cejudo explained that the fight was very impressive and the outcome was unexpected. Triple C didn’t have faith in Kattar when he went for the fight but the fighter’s performance was an absolute statement to his doubters.
Cejudo revealed that he would like to apologize to Calvin Kattar for counting him out and not believing in him that he could defeat Giga Chikadze. “It was actually the beating of the year and you know what I’m gonna say this Calvin Kattar, I’m sorry man I apologize. I counted you out man but it’s the same reason why when somebody counts you out, they will respect you more,” said Cejudo”.
Cejudo also gave credit to Kattar for showcasing such a great game plan executed with pressure and true tenacity. The composure of Kattar was on point and the takedowns really changed the fight for him. “He was using takedowns, Schmo we rarely see that guy do that. He was able to kind of pull out of his back pocket we saw several takedowns and congratulations, Calvin Kattar like I said man you got my respect,” said Cejudo.
