Molly McCann was just exhilarated after her main card fight against Luana Carolina after she finished her with a spinning elbow and sent the whole O2 arena into a frenzy. She added that this was one of the best moments in her life and also that it would be rare for a woman on the main card to get that kind of a knockout again.
McCain got the knockout in the last round and shocked everyone, says that her synchronization was just perfect and this was a one-off picture-perfect K.O. which sent her[Molly] floating into the clouds. “I’m so at peace because this is the moment I’ve been waiting for with the battles in mi own mind but everyone could see how calm I was this week and it was just my time.”
Molly McCann said to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour that the ‘Peace’ was just not for show but was from within her, continues to explain how she just had the best walkout and knew when she stepped into the cage that she ‘Had arrived’. Molly added that she kept on hitting her and she kept running away, that’s when she said “I felt like Neo from the Matrix, nothing was going to stop me, Ariel…”

Molly said that she was at 57 Kilos and didn’t think she could hit that hard, adds that she was so busy celebrating after which she went over to pay her respects to Luna and saw that she wasn’t quite up in her senses as of yet which is when she got a hint.
Molly then explained how she was asked a question by the UFC legend Michael Bisping while also simultaneously looking at the replay on the big screen is when she realized what a spectacular knockout it was. “So much was going around and I’m only a 125 lbs, I’m not really going to hit someone like that, I knew she’d be up and I didn’t think it was such a bad KO until…”
