Jorge Masvidal talks to the reporters in the press conference and expresses his disappointment after his family and kids being dragged into his fight, says Colby is probably going to have a ‘sex change‘ and fight women.
Colby Covington has been doing a lot of trash talking and denying the claims of Jorge Masvidal, bringing Jorge’s family and friends into the trash talk. Jorge replies by saying that Colby has no standards and he doesn’t have to resort to such trash talk, saying all this is beneath him and is going to break Covington’s face.
Masvidal says that he loves these small opportunities to go against someone whom he actually dislikes and is just an Icing on the cake, adds that this isn’t personal but is as close as it gets to it.

Jorge Masvidal talks about how he has never shied away from taking some ass whooping from his sparring partners but points out that body shots and other hard shots have an emotional impact on Colby, adds that Colby has left sessions after getting angry for not being able to take a whooping.
“I take my ass whooping like a man and I give one like a man too, like I’ve said in numerous interviews, he is an alright hammer, that he can do but as soon as things don’t go his way man, he starts to unfold, it’s a fact. You’ve seen the facial expressions he makes when things ain’t going his way, I mean Woodley wasn’t obviously giving into him and put him in a little guillotine and before he could even sink it in he tapped, you know… it’s just the nature of his, He’s a good hammer but never the nail“
Jorge also points out that he always has this persona when the lights are on him, changes to a different person, and comes back and says ‘Did it for the Pay per view’ and apologizes and tries to be friends. Jorge also points out that Colby did the same with Usman and talked about his Dad, Mom, wife, and kids which shows the extent to which Colby goes to get Pay per view and still is the last on the list.
Jorge concludes that he doesn’t want the other fighters to look at this ‘bitch’ and think that that’s how they sell pay per views and then proceed to trash talk someone’s family, says that Colby and him will always have beef throughout his life.
