Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz verbal warfare on Twitter
Very rarely do we see the two UFC superstars Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz not exchange some heat on social media. Both the fighters once again trade some barbs which are never not entertaining.
Once the Irish superstar gets going on his Twitter account, there is no stopping him. The Notorious One was in the mood for some verbal warfare and decided to go at his biggest rival, Nate Diaz. A Twitter page that goes by the name of “fight pics that go hard” decided to post a picture of Conor McGregor resting in between rounds with blood all over him at UFC 202, the blockbuster rematch with his rival, the Stockton Slugger.
Conor reposted that picture and wrote, “None of this is my blood” suggesting his opponent Nate took most of the beating in their rematch. Conor and Nate fought each other twice in their career and it is undoubtedly two of the most entertaining fights the UFC has witnessed. Conor and Nate are tied 1-1, head-to-head and UFC 202 gave McGregor the revenge he was looking for.

To make sure he got a reaction out of the fighter from Stockton, McGregor doubled down on his trolling by posting an image from his recent video at a hotel and photoshopping Nate’s face in place of his butler. Nate and Conor have been known to not back off from verbal warfare.
Nate posted a picture of him grounding and pounding the Irishman in their meeting. In their first fight, the Diaz brother submitted Conor in the second round, shocking the entire world at UFC 196. Both the fights between Conor and Nate are on the list of Top 5 PPVs of all-time in the UFC.
The UFC is currently looking to match up the duo once again for a blockbuster trilogy. There is no doubt that a trilogy between McGregor and Diaz would break all sorts of records for the UFC. Conor is currently healing from his injury at UFC 264 and is expected to make a return in the fall of 2022.
