Jiri Prochazka is one of the most exciting fighters the light heavyweight division has ever seen. His killer instincts inside the octagon and his unbelievable finishes have cut short his route to the light heavyweight belt. The “Denisa” is now scheduled to take on the newly crowned veteran champion Glover Teixeira.

Who better to prepare for a light heavyweight title fight than the greatest of all time. Jon Jones and Prochazka are ready to train together in the month of February. This news was first reported by RT Sport on their Instagram page. While Jones looks to return to the UFC for his heavyweight title shot, Jiri will also help him achieve that feat by prepping him in the gym.

The former light heavyweight champion, Jones recently ran into trouble with the law regarding domestic abuse. His old gym Jackson Wink Academy imposed a temporary ban on the fighter which forced him to move back to his old gym. “Bones” now trains with former two-division champion Henry Cejudo at the Jackson’s MMA Acoma Gym.

Jiri has already hinted that he is in talks with Triple C to help him out for his upcoming title shot. By joining hands with Cejudo, Prochazka will be a training partner for Jones. The main reason why Jiri has decided to go move to Jackson’s MMA Acoma Gym is to improve his wrestling.

Prochazka is currently only two fights into the UFC promotion. He has two stunning wins against Volkan Oezdemir and former title contender Dominick Reyes. His win versus Reyes has secured him a title shot. Prochazka stunned the world with his spinning elbow finish in the second round at UFC Vegas 25. How do you see the pairing of Jiri and Jones in the gym turning out? Will Jones make a return to the octagon in 2022?
