The Joe Rogan Experience has become the biggest podcast in the world. Joe Rogan is a multi-talented individual and leads the UFC PPV commentary team. He started his podcast to talk about mainstream incidents and popular culture. During an episode of his podcast, Rogan discussed the worst Chimpanzee attack in human history.
Joe Rogan said that the chimp attack happened over a shocking incident involving a birthday cake. The story turned out to be very graphic.
“There was a terrible story about a guy who had kept a pet chimp and then brought the chimp a birthday cake. The other chimps found out this chimp was getting a birthday cake, and they were f**king furious. So, the chimps got out and tore this guy apart because of a birthday cake. They ripped his d**k off because they hated the fact they gave the other chimp a birthday cake.”Joe Rogan on his podcast
Rogan is talking about former NASCAR driver St. James Davis. Davis and his wife LaDonna treated a young chimp named Moe as a human child. The officials seized Moe after the chimp bit some people. They placed him in an animal sanctuary where the Davis family regularly visited them. The other chimpanzees attacked the couple during a visit over a birthday cake. Davis was permanently disfigured and remained in a coma for some time.
California court officials helped the family after failing to pay them a stipulated 300$ per month for the incident. The court in 2007 ruled that West Covina should pay the Davis family $32,000 for the damages caused. The city bought them a house in Baldwin Park and reunited them with Moe. However, the chimpanzee disappeared in 2008 and was never seen again.
