Wesley Snipes had a successful acting career in the 1980s and 1990s. The IRS compelled Wesley Snipes to reimburse $23.5 million in tax liabilities from 2001 to 2006 in the late 2000s. This resulted in a three-year prison sentence, during which Snipes attempted to settle his debts by offering only $850,000 in cash. To clear his debt, Wesley Snipes decided to have a celebrity fight with Jean-Claude Van Damme and Joe Rogan.
In a podcast, Joe Rogan said that Wesley was told that nobody wanted to see him fight Jean-Claude Van Damme. They told him to fight someone relevant in combat sports. Instead, he got the offer to fight Joe Rogan. Rogan said, “I’m gonna grab you, the f**k are you gonna do if I grab you?” Rogan implied that he had the grappling advantage over Snipes.
Throughout his life, UFC commentator Joe Rogan has trained in various martial arts styles. In addition to breaking heavy bags with spinning back kicks, the JRE host knocked out his opponent cold with the same maneuver at the age of nineteen.
Furthermore, Wesley Snipes is said to be a Shotokan karate 5th-degree black belt and a Hapkido 2nd-degree black belt. In an MMA match, Rogan believed he would have submitted the Hollywood actor. This realization appears to have prompted Snipes to withdraw.
Joe Rogan’s reaction to Nate Diaz vs. Jake Paul

The UFC analyst and commentator Joe Rogan saw the boxing bout between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz from his podcast studio. Paul and Diaz fought for ten rounds at the American Airlines Centre in Dallas, Texas.
Diaz was clearly losing the battle towards the end. He showboated more in this bout than any other. Diaz trapped Paul in a guillotine choke in the tenth round. The referee yanked him off Paul, and the final bell rang to conclude their tremendously interesting battle.
Rogan streamed this event in his studio with former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub and BJJ coach Eddie Bravo. He instantly started hyping an MMA rematch after the match ended. After being declared the winner, Paul used his post-fight address to announce his desire to test himself in a new sport after previously signing a contract with the PFL to fight MMA.
