Conor McGregor is once again making the headlines for all the bad reasons, he allegedly punched an Italian DJ during his family trip to Rome. Many criticized him for his behavior and even called him a maniac.

Now a long time MMA journalist John Morgan has spoken about the issue, he stated, “That’s the thing about these incidents, where do they stop? You know it’s not so much that he punched the DJ, right?… It just keeps happening, where does it stop? Does it continue going? Everybody loves a good comeback story, that’s the best part, making it back to the top after being at the bottom… you can’t have a comeback until you’re not spiraling downward anymore. That’s what troubles me… when can we just get the guy back?”

This incident came right after Conor’s recent scuffle with the rapper Machine Gun Kelly at MTV Music Video Awards. Conor threw his drink at MGK who was attending the event with his girlfriend Megan Fox. Fortunately, the altercation didn’t turn physical.

McGregor is undoubtedly the biggest MMA star in this world, he isn’t necessarily known as an ideal role model, but his recent scandals have been pretty bad. Morgan believes it is very unfortunate that Conor doesn’t have anyone around him to tell him what’s right and wrong.

He said, “It’s just a damn shame man, Conor McGregor is the biggest star in the history of sport. There’s no question about it. Now these continued incidents they’re troubling man, you just hate to see it and when it happens over and over and over, you start thinking it’s just not an unfortunate situation. It’s like you’re putting yourself in this situation and I don’t like seeing him go down that road”
