Shocking: Jorge Masvidal jailed following his restaurant run-in with Colby Covington

Jorge Masvidal arrested
In the aftermath of his alleged altercation with Colby Covington, Jorge Masvidal has been arrested and has been allegedly charged for assault. The bust-up is said to have taken place outside Papi Steakhouse where Colby Covington was catching up with The Nelk Boys, to celebrate his win at UFC 272.
The Cops showed up at the site of the assault and took down Colby’s statement. He identified his assailant as Jorge Masvidal by making out his voice and the hair popping out of his hoodie. Giving a description of the assault, Colby states that he was leaving the restaurant before the assailant ran towards him and punched him twice. Colby was left with a fractured tooth and a bruised wrist.
Masvidal after the ‘incident’ took to Twitter where he says in a video, “Call this the show your face challenge … what’s up, I’m from Dade county. You talk that s*** you’ve got to back it up. That’s how my city rolls.”

What are the repercussions Jorge Masvidal will have to face?

Jorge Masvidal is mostly like to face charges for battery assault and public mischief. If convicted he could potentially face time behind bars. That could be for 15 years or he will have to pay a huge fine.
Masvidal even applied for a promoter’s license with the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Tabling his application he describes the incident to the Commission by saying, “I had a mutual combatant with another athlete, and you know, I can’t say too much on this, but if we could table for later, that would be amazing.”
Currently out on a $15,000 bond, it seems like Jorge Masvidal can kiss his license bye-bye.
