“You can’t pay that man enough money,” Jorge Masvidal claims Conor McGregor is never going to fight him

Jorge Masvidal and Conor McGregor

The former two-times UFC Welterweight title contender, Jorge Masvidal has been matched with the former two-division UFC champion, Conor McGregor on multiple occasions. Masvidal and McGregor are two of the biggest draws in UFC and a fight between these both would be one of the biggest fights in UFC history.

Jorge Masvidal is on a two-fight losing streak with both losses coming against the Welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman. While Conor McGregor also won only one out of his last four fights, that too was against Donald Cerrone at Welterweight.

McGregor is out due to an injury against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 and he is speculated to make his comeback at Welterweight. Masvidal’s name also came up for ‘The Notorious’ but ‘Gamebred’ thinks this fight is never going to happen as McGregor is too small as compared to him.

While talking to MMA Junkie reporters on PFL playoffs, Masvidal says, “I’m full man size. He’s like a very small, fragile dude, He don’t want that. You can’t pay that man enough money, so that one’s OK. (I) don’t need it.” {H/T MMA Junkie}

The ‘BMF’ champion is gearing up for his third title shot as he is getting ready to face the top contender towards the end of this year. The UFC Welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman is booked to face Colby Covington in a rematch at UFC 268 and Gilbert Burns has been calling Masvidal to face him.

‘Gamebred’ is ready to fight anyone at the end of this year as long as it comes with the prize of the title shot. He continued, “The guy that gets me the closest and the fastest to the title bout (is what I want next),”

Masvidal will be facing the promotional leaders in Las Vegas next week to discuss his next fight. He concluded, “That’s what I’m going to find out in two weeks,”

“Whoever the UFC’s like, ‘Man, this guy gets you quicker than anybody else and blah, blah, blah,’ that’s it. That’s what I have to take.” {H/T MMA Junkie}
