In an interview with Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour, Kai Kara France talks about how he would like to fight both Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Fiqueiredo. He tells further that he would like to knockout Deiveson in front of his Olympian Coach Henry Cejudo.

Kai Kara-France tells Ariel Helwani, “I’d love to knock Figgy out right in front of Cejudo and let him know that that shy, young boy that you coached on The Ultimate Fighter ain’t the same anymore. I’m grown up, I’m matured, and I’m a seasoned veteran. So it’s a whole different ballpark.” It seems like Kara-France still feels that he has something to prove to his former coach.

After their split, the former student-teacher duo were last seen feuding about Cejudo’s callout of Alexander Volkanovski. Henry Cejudo who retired from the UFC sometime back has expressed his interest to fight Alexander Volkanovski. In an interview with Schmo, Kara-France was asked to comment about Cejudo vs Volkanovski. Kai who has previously sparred with “The Great” warns Henry while advising him to stay retired.

If Figueiredo vs. Moreno 4, isn’t going to happen, Kai Kara-France is ready to step up and he has already weighed the pros and cons, before settling on whom he wants to fight next.

In the interview for The MMA Hour, Kai reveal whom he wishes to face next, saying “Both (Figueiredo and Moreno) fights are great fights for me, but I would love to fight Figueiredo. The way he amps up the fight, just his style, people really think he’s ‘God of War.’

But I want to show him that there’s levels to this and there’s a new ‘God of War’ in town, and that’s me. I want to be in his face and put it on him. I want to test him.

He goes on saying, “I feel like I can put him away, so it would be a great fight, and imagine doing it at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, 60,000 people, making the walkout, feeding off the energy and putting it on him.”
