Kayla Harrison disses Julianna Pena in an early morning wish as the trash talk goes on

Kayla Harrison- Julianna Pena
Olympic Champion and 2-time PFL Tournament winner Kayla Harrison is a selectively nice person and perhaps UFC women’s bantamweight champion Julianna Pena must know about it. Harrison, the Olympic gold medalist in Judo for the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics was on a long run of free agency from October 2021 until last month when she signed back to her home promotion PFL, with a much more lucrative deal. Harrison so far is 12-0 as a mixed martial artist, all her bouts being in PFL.

Pena, on the other hand, became the UFC bantamweight champion only in her last bout when she pulled off the greatest upsetting victory in women’s MMA history by defeating the pound-for-pound great Amanda Nunes last year in December 2021 at UFC 269. Pena is now going to face as the head coach of her team opposing the team of Amanda Nunes at UFC’s exclusive reality TV show The Ultimate Fighter, following which the rematch will take place.
Kayla Harrison and Julianna Pena- two women who are not fond of each other big time!

As soon as Pena became the world champion, she was open to multiple opportunities before the rematch with Nunes, which also included fighting against Nunes’ former teammate Harrison as well, who was her teammate until Nunes left the American Top Team to become the founder of her own gym. But UFC couldn’t get Harrison to sign with and fight for their company.
But the trash talk between Pena and Harrison has already developed and boiled to a decent level. It once did come to such a point that Harrison even told Pena that she would take her out with ‘one arm’ if required. Pena in return has claimed that Nunes left the gym because Harrison turned from a friend to a competitor for her, citing who needs enemies when there are friends like Harrison. Now Harrison took to Twitter to make an early morning jab at Pena tweeting “Good morning to everyone except @VenezuelanVixen“
What do you make of Harrison’s tweet? Who do you think wins the fight between Pena and Harrison if they ever go inside the Octagon for the ultimate scrap? Do you think Pena is getting past her upcoming opponent Amanda Nunes in any way, or does Nunes claims back her title? When do you think we can expect Harrison to fight in a top tier promotion like the UFC or Bellator MMA? It’s easy to see the legacy is most likely built rapidly only on the biggest of platforms possible and Harrison needs that in her career for the amount of talent she has.
