Kevin Lee has been hinting at a move to the welterweight division and it looks like the Motown Phenom is officially moving to another weight class. Sources suggest that he will be facing Sean Brady in his debut at the new division on his return to the octagon.
Kevin Lee has agreed to make his comeback after a year break against Sean Brady on July 10 in Las Vegas. This news was first reported by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto. Multiple sources told ESPN about this booking. The pay-per-view fight will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Lee will be going up against a very tough opponent. This will be the first time Kevin will be moving to a new weight class in his career. The fighter from Detroit feels welterweight as his future. The Motown Phenom has a record of 18-6-0 in his career. His last fight was against current lightweight champion Charles Oliveira at Fight Night 170: Brasilia. Lee lost the bout via submission in the third round.

Kevin will be facing Sean who has the perfect record for a fighter. Brady is 14-0-0 in his career and 3-0 with the promotion. Brady has been fighting in the octagon since 2019. His last three wins were against Ismail Naurdiev, Christian Aguilera, and Jake Mathews. Brady from Philadelphia is 3-0 in 2020 while Lee has not fought the entire year.
Kevin is coming off multiple knee surgeries since the March of 2020 and has not fought since. The fighter from Detroit has won only two fights in the last five.
