Daniel Cormier got inducted into UFC’s Hall of Fame and it was announced during the live broadcast of UFC 274. The former double champ was out there in the commentary team and was extremely moved and overwhelmed by the news.
This achievement was eventually coming to DC but it was unknown when it’s going to happen. The fighter is considered as one of best fighters in UFC history and he has proved it multiple times.
During the broadcast of UFC 274, Daniel Cormier thanked the fans and his parents. He said :
” Thank you guys, man, the whole UFC. I have been through a lot in my life and the things I accomplished in this game and in this octagon is… I don’t know, man, I’m at a loss of words and I love to talk. My parents, man, I have lost them both recently and they watching me right now and one more time I can make them very proud.”
Khabib Nurmagomedov’s message to Daniel Cormier on his Hall of Fame induction
After DC was induced to the Hall of Fame, Khabib Nurmagomedov took this opportunity to share his affection towards his friend.
Nurmagomedov shared a series of pictures of him and DC on his official Instagram account to remember all the days they have spent together. In the caption, Nurmagomedov thanked DC and revealed he has learnt a lot from the fighter in these 10 years of training together. Nurmagomedov explained that it was incredible that they both got inducted to the Hall of Fame in the same year. Nurmagomedov praised Daniel Cormier for deserving all the success he is getting and said he is one of the best ever.
” It was a great honor for me to train almost 10 years shoulder to shoulder with you, I learned a lot from you. It’s unbelievable that we both got into the UFC hall of fame in 2022. You deserve everything you have Champion Your hard work, dedication and loyalty to your loved ones brought the results. You are one of the best who was ever in this game,” wrote Nurmagomedov.
Nurmagomedov and DC go way back then ‘ The Eagle’ joined AKA gym when he came to the States for UFC. The duo was entertaining and their clips together showed their bond. Both the fighters are extremely deserving for this feat.
