UFC Vegas 36: Khalil Rountree Jr annihilates Modestas Bukauskas; wins via TKO in Round 2

The second fight of the main card saw Modestas Bukauskas take on Khalil Rountree Jr. in a light-heavyweight encounter. Both the fighters have been stuck in a rut of late. Winless in their last two fights, Bukauskas and Rountree Jr. will be looking forward to giving it their all to get back to winning ways.
While Rountree Jr. was coming off a loss against Marcin Prachnio at UFC 257 in January this year, Bukauskas lost to Michal Oleksiejczuk at UFC 260 due to a split decision.

Round 1:
Big start from Khalil. He began hurting Modestas from the word go. However, he somehow held on. The cage came to his aid very often. Khalil Rountree was just too quick. Modestas’ nose was shattered. Right hand after right hand from Khalil. Massive left hand followed. Heavy low kick from Khalil. Left hand from Khalil. Massive right hand from Khalil to end the round. 10-9 Khalil Rountree Jr.
Round 2:
Measured start from Modestas. Left hand from Khalil Rountree Jr. He looked calm. A slower round compared to the explosive 1st. Right hand from Modestas connected. A right leg kick from Khalil had Modestas’ knee compromised. TKO due to leg kick!!!
