UFC Welterweight Khamzat Chimaev is not the one to rest until he becomes the undisputed best. Chimaev just fought a couple of days ago at UFC 273 when he delivered a fight of the year contender against Gilbert Burns, winning the toughest test of his career via unanimous decision. As a by-product of the battle he fought, Chimaev took the most damage in this fight than in his past four fights in the UFC, with a reception of over 100+ significant strikes.

Before that, Chimaev was only hit only twice in a total of all his 4 fights. Other than receiving the unexpected amount of hits, Chimaev also got knocked down once in the second round. Regardless, Chimaev showed that he is not only about the talent, but has also got fighter’s will as well. As said by his coach Andreas Michael, Chimaev is a warrior who wanted to go to war. Regardless, Chimaev has got the upper hand over the #2 ranked welterweight in the world in just his fifth UFC fight.

What do you make of Chimaev hitting back at training in just 2 days? Who do you think should be next for Chimaev? UFC President Dana White said before UFC 273 that if Chimaev won against Burns, the former will fight the #1 ranked welterweight and former 2-time welterweight title challenger Colby Covington. Now Chimaev has won, he has also called out the current welterweight champion and pound-for-pound king Kamaru Usman and upcoming title challenger Leon Edwards as well alongside Covington.
