Laura Sanko has finally achieved her dream and is more than overwhelmed after her successful debut as a UFC booth commentator.

Laura Sanko is a former fighter and is also a broadcaster for the UFC. She is used to doing pre and post-fight shows. Sanko always dreamt of being a commentator and Dana White has finally made her wish come true. Laura was one of the commentators at week 1 of Dana White’s Contender Series Season 5. She was accompanied by Paul Felder and Dan Hellie. She recently spoke about how enthralling it was for her on MMA Junkie Radio.

“It was awesome, it was over the moon,” Sanko told MMA Junkie Radio. “I’m still floating on air. I still have gosh, so many people to respond to who have said so many kind things, and a laundry list of people to thank for helping me get to that moment. I’m well aware of that. This is a show where I have built-in credibility. I’ve been on every episode since Day 1.”

Dana White in the press conference talking to the media complimented Laura for her amazing work. “Congratulations to her. She has earned it, she deserves it, she belongs there, and she is as educated and as good at talking about fights as anybody else in the game. I think tonight was the beginning of a great career for her,” said Dana White.

White said that she has plenty of work to do now. Sanko also does not mind all the work though. “It felt perfect and it was the right way to introduce me to fans in this way because listen, we all know UFC can be a tough lot,” Sanko said on the radio show.
