“Lets go fat boy!” Khamzat Chimaev jokingly rips into Darren Till during their training session
Khamzat Chimaev and Darren Till train together
Darren Till has decided to train with the rising superstar Khamzat Chimaev recently. Chimaev and Till linked up at the “Borz” local gym in Sweden and let’s just say Chimaev has his own way of “motivating” the Liverpool fighter.
Khamzat Chimaev and Darren Till have been in touch with each other since the debut of the rising superstar. Both the fighters have gone back and forth in a friendly way and Chimaev invited Till to train with him in the past. It looks like the Liverpool fighter finally decided to drop by Chimaev’s in Sweden, the All-Stars Training Center.
It seems like the two fighters have collaborated over the Block Asset NFT. Till also had the chance to train with light heavyweight title contender Alexander Gustaffson. In a video that was released, we can see Khamzat, Till, and other members in the gym training at high intensity. And the “Borz” pushes Till by calling a “Fatboy” which has turned out to trend all over the internet.
Khamzat not only fights in the welterweight division but is also comfortable fighting in the 185-lb weightclass. He has four fights in the UFC with two each in welterweight and middleweight. A potential rival to Darren but the two have a very good relationship.
Darren Till shares hilarious edited picture of his training session with Khamzat Chimaev
Fans were very quick to catch on to the “fat boy” comment by Khamzat in the gym during their training session together. Till being the good sport he is laughed off at that comment in the gym and to make things better, the “Gorilla” even posted an edited image of him on his Twitter referring to the “fat” comment.
Darren is known for his antics online and has also been banned by social media apps for taking things too far when it comes to jokes. The fighter now stays very active on Twitter and does not shy away from poking fun at himself. Till is looking to come back from his bad run in the UFC.
Till is currently on a two-fight losing streak having lost to top contenders like Derek Brunson and Robert Whittaker. The fighter also faced pushback due to injuries and is now doing his best to recover. Khamzat on the other hand is cruising through any opponents that the UFC matches him with. The 10-0 fighter is in talks with the promotion to fight against a top welterweight contender which will help him get close to a title shot.
