“I hope Evander batters him,” Michael Bisping on Evander Holyfield vs Vitor Belfort
Michael Bisping on Vitor Belfort
Vitor Belfort is going to compete in a boxing match against the boxing legend Evander Holyfield on 11th September 2021. Belfort was previously supposed to face Oscar De La Hoya but he had to pull out because of health issues.
Belfort faced the former middleweight champion Michael Bisping back in January 2013. Belfort knocked out Bisping with a brutal head that caused permanent damage to his eye. Now Bisping is left with only one functional eye, and Belfort was tested positive for elevated testosterone levels.
Speaking of this fight on his podcast, Bisping used some strong words to describe his feelings towards Belfort. He said, “I hope Evander beats the f—k out of him. That’s all I’m going to say, I’m not going to go into a technical breakdown of it. God knows what Vitor has been doing. We knew he had good boxing, we knew he had fast hands, we knew he could pack a punch.”
“He’s just a piece of s—t,” Michael Bisping truly hates Vitor Belfort
Bisping was known for the famous rivalries he had across his career. He might disrespect his opponent outside the octagon, but it was all class after the fight. However, he doesn’t feel the same way about Belfort because he used banned substances, and that caused him to lose his eye.
Bisping truly hopes Belfort gets a beating of his life against Holyfield, “Evander Holyfield is a big dude… I f—king hope,” he continued. “I would take great pleasure in that. I don’t care what you say, he was on juice and he beat me fair and square. When people beat me in the past, I don’t harbour a grudge, I wish them all the best… He’s just a piece of s—t. I don’t give a f—k… I hope Evander batters him.”
