“He has fascinating takes and a way with words I can only aspire to” – Michael Bisping hits out at Joe Rogan’s critics
Michael Bisping and Joe Rogan
Michael Bisping didn’t hold back when backlash about UFC commentator Joe Rogan surfaced. Stand-up comedian and mixed martial arts enthusiast Joe Rogan has been an integral part of the UFC since time immemorial. Starting off in the late 90s, Rogan has been the head color commentator since the early 2000s.
Of late, Joe Rogan, has been busy with his comedy tour, now that the country is open. As a result, he has had to miss (or skip, whatever rocks your boat) the last two pay-per-view events, viz. UFC 265 and UFC 266. Rogan has come under widespread criticism for the same.
Trent Reinsmith slams Joe Rogan
UFC author Trent Reinsmith wrote on UFCbettingsite.com that Rogan is now just an employee who the boss loves, and not the co-workers. He also slammed Rogan saying that he does the least amount of work possible while getting the highest pay.
Rogan might have just become the longtime employee the boss loves, but who other workers side-eye with resentment. He’s the guy who shows up late, leaves early, does the least amount of work possible, gets the highest amount of pay and reaps the big rewards.
Michael Bisping hits back at critics
A fan on Twitter shared Reinsmith’s take on Rogan and asked for UFC Hall of Famer and fellow commentator Michael Bisping’s thoughts on the same. Bisping was quick to Rogan’s defense, saying that he admired the work of Rogan before going on to add that his (Rogan’s) take of the game and word play always amazed him.
Bisping wrote, “For me @joerogan is the man when it comes to commentating. it’s just become trendy to knock him for some insanely strange reason. I watch him and learn every time. He has fascinating takes and a way with words I can only aspire to. And this isn’t me being a company man either.“
