Michael Bisping is back in his hometown of Manchester. The Englishman left his home country in 2005 after dominating the light-heavyweight division in the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship. Today, he stands as the greatest mixed martial artist in the history of the United Kingdom, besides also being a Hall of Famer in the greatest mixed martial arts promotion in the world.

Bisping, known as ‘The Count’ also has been making his mark in Hollywood action movies. He made his mainstream debut in Vin Diesel’s film XXX: Return of Xander Cage. Since then he has acted in notable movies like Den of Thieves (2018) and Triple Threat (2019).

His Internet career has been soaring as well. Bisping has his own podcast, ‘Believe You Me’ and uploads videos regularly on his YouTube channel. The former middleweight champ is also one of the color commentators in the UFC, and regularly heads the panel during UFC Fight Nights.

“Cannot f*cking wait” – Michael Bisping ahead of event at O2 Apollo

Now that he is back in Manchester, Bisping will be narrating his life story at the O2 Apollo in Manchester. The event titled ‘An Evening With Michael Bisping: Tales From The Octagon will have ‘The Count’ entertain the audience with his tales of hardship and glory. Bisping has got dates in other cities as well – this one being in Manchester, makes it more special.

Ahead of the event, Bisping shared a video on Twitter, where he could be seen jogging, while pumped about the event. He could be seen saying, “Here in Manchester. So nice to be back. Oh yeah! The Apollo tonight. Pretty much sold out. Cannot f*cking wait.” [firstsportz.com]

The event is set to begin at 7:00 pm BST on the 8th of October, and as Bisping stated, the tickets have pretty much sold out. The O2 Apollo is a concert venue located in Ardwick Green (Manchester), which can hold a maximum of 3500 people. It was opened on the 29th of August, 1938.
