Michael Bisping has nothing but praise for his former MMA rival Anderson Silva. The Brazilian middleweight aced in his second professional boxing match.

On September 12th, Anderson Silva took on Tito Ortiz at the co-main event of The Triller Fight Club pay-per-view. The fight took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Anderson won the fight via KO in the very first round and former middleweight champion Michael Bisping was in nothing but awe of the “Spider” on his YouTube channel.

“Anderson Silva is one of the greatest martial artists that the human race has ever seen. Tito said he’s gonna go out there and punch a hole in his head and he’s a fighter all the rest of it, and he ain’t gonna use none of that wing-Chun bollocks on him. That is not the way you fight Silva. You can’t go in against Silva and be aggressive… No way,” said Bisping. [transcribed by MMA Fighting]

“Silva’s timing is impeccable, his reflexes are cat-like, urban cat-like, and the diversity of attacks that Anderson has is mind-blowing… Tito should have known coming into this fight against Anderson that you have to be strategic.”

Michael Bisping thinks Anderson Silva should be next for Jake Paul

Anderson has definitely shaken up the boxing world after his two wins in professional boxing. He also has earned praise from possibly the most annoying opponent to have, Bisping. The two met each other in the past and Michael won the fight via decision. Bisping was at the fight of Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley and after seeing Spider perform at this level, he thinks Paul would find it tough against the 46-year-old MMA legend.

“What’s next for Anderson Silva? I don’t know but every part of my body says that if Jake Paul really wants a tough test, he is your man,” Bisping said. “Look no further. You think you’ve got what it takes and you want to pick off somebody that’s not in their prime – Anderson Silva is 46, many knockouts now, he’s long in the tooth, a battle-worn veteran – but he will give you everything you don’t want, so be careful.”
