Michael Chandler recently shared the news about him and her wife Brie adopting their second child. The couple previously had one son named Hap and now he has become a big brother to the little Ace Chandler.
On this occasion, Chandler took to Instagram to share this good news with his fans and followers.
“ So blessed to add another son to the Chandler family. Ace Chandler was born on April 19th. The blessings of adoption have enriched our lives more than we ever thought possible. So many people have said we have given such a gift to these young men, but to us, it’s always felt like the exact opposite…we feel like we have won the lottery every single day,” wrote Chandler in the caption of the post holding his new son.
Michael Chandler reacts to an amusing Twitter troll regarding his adoption
After the news about Chandler’s second child broke out and MMA community gave their warm blessings to the Chandler family.
Among those blessings and good wishes, some twitter users took this opportunity to make some sneaky but healthy jokes at the fighter. One of the notable ones was made by a user named @RealRickyJassal. The fan congratulated Chandler on his new child and afterwards made a joke about his UFC career. He stated that now Chandler has more adopted kids than UFC wins. ” Congrats to @MikeChandlerMMA for his new child. He now officially has more adopted children than wins in @ufc #UFCstats.”
The former Bellator champion was amused by the tweet and took the comment in a sporting way. He replied back “Haha, this troll is not wrong….”
It was an entertaining moment for all the other users. Both parties took it positively. Indeed the comment makes sense as Chandler made his UFC debut against Dan Hooker at UFC 257. He won the fight in a dominating fashion and got an opportunity to fight for the lightweight title. But the fighter failed to stop the current champion, Charles Oliveira.
After that, he fought Justin Gaethje at UFC 268 and despite giving a great fight lost the fight by unanimous decision. Currently, Chandler is 1-2 in UFC and will be looking forward to improving these records.
