There is no doubt that Paddy Pimblett is a superstar in the making. The fighter has all that it takes to make it big in the UFC. Molly McCann, teammate of Paddy, speaks about the fighter’s aspiration to become bigger than Conor McGregor in the sport of MMA.

UFC London was a blockbuster event from top to bottom. All the fighters in the card gave it their best. It was also a wonderful night for the city of Liverpool as two fighters from their city stole the show and made the headlines all over the world. Molly McCann and Paddy Pimblett made their city proud after their performances at UFC Fight Night 204.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Molly spoke about her teammate Paddy, and his comments in the press conferences. Pimblett is truly a man that can steal the show with a microphone in his hand. Paddy The Baddy has said in public that he wants to be a bigger star than Conor McGregor, though that might come off as a wild ambition, McCann believes her teammate has what it takes to rise to that level.

“On the way home [after receiving 50k bonus], I was kinda like, ‘I always envisioned this but never thought it would really come true,’ and he [Paddy] went, ‘I did. I know. I know where we’re going,'” said Molly on Paddy’s confidence in general as a fighter.

When Sky Sports interviewer asked Molly if she truly believes in Paddy’s comments about him becoming bigger than McGregor, she gave a very affirmative answer. “It’s good to hear him reaffirm. We took over the O2, we took over Vegas,” said Molly talking to Sky Sports.

“He is such a firm believer. He believes in what he says and what he says, he does. It’s just really good to surround yourself with someone like that.” Paddy was the star of UFC London and had the entire crowd in O2 Arena on their feet with his performance and walkout. Even UFC boss Dana White was more than impressed with what he saw in the UK.
