It all started with Askren complimenting about Paul’s boxing in the Lex Friedman Podcast in reaction to which Diaz said “confirming from a retired boxer who can’t fight or box.” Now on this, both Paul and Askren had a piece of their mind to say out loud to Diaz.

It all started with a tweet on bjpenndotcom and here it goes like “Ben Askren admits Jake Paul (@jakepaul) is ‘kind of good’ at boxing #boxing and Nate Diaz responded “Coming from a retired wrestler who can’t fight or box.” Now after this, Paul comes with a savage response to Diaz saying “you have 6 times as many losses as Ben Askren Let that sink in.”

Diaz had no less of a befitting reply for Paul either and he said “He sucks jake You’d get smoked n a real fight tho You can’t really fight Boxing matches with wrestlers only Let that sink in”

Paul chose to make a bold statement in his claim and said “I own the entire city of Stockton Let that sink in”

From the lanes of his own account, Askren watched it all and reacted to the situation in his tweet “Nate is right, I suck at boxing. He sucks at MMA. If he wants me to prove it I can be in the USADA pool tomorrow. Would be happy to be the last fight on his contract.”

In addition to this, Askren also said replying to a fan “You would have to be an idiot to think Nate beats me in an MMA fight”

One last shot was taken by Askren and here’s the clip captioned “Real men run towards danger, COWARDS run away @NateDiaz209 [Diaz’s Twitter]”

What do you make out of this unexpected Twitter war Nate Diaz went on with Jake Paul and Ben Askren? This has to be one of the most hyped Twitter beef of the final quarter of 2021. Diaz is yet to announce his one last fight in the current UFC contract while Askren is retired and Paul is fighting Tommy Fury, another undefeated boxer on December 2021, in Florida.
