Nate Diaz tags random Twitter user in public request to the UFC

Nate Diaz wanted to make it known that he is not happy with the way things are run around the UFC. However, a random person in the world who is not into the MMA or the UFC will have to deal with that as the Stockton Superstar tags him in his public request instead of tagging the UFC’s Chief Business Officer, Hunter Campbell.

Nate Diaz is a legend in the UFC but the superstar just can’t seem to get a fight under his belt. The Stockton fighter is on the last fight of his contract and wants out immediately. He has been trying to get a fight for the past few months but the promotion doesn’t think Diaz’s fight request line with the company’s plan for him.

After the last straw, Diaz had to resort to a public request to be cut off from the UFC roster. “I Would like to request to be released from the @ufc@danawhite@hunter I apologize for asking online but u don’t give me a fight asap I got shit to do,” wrote Diaz in his tweet.

Though Diaz meant to tag Hunter Campbell from the UFC, the fighter couldn’t bother checking the @, instead he tagged a Hunter who is really not familiar with the UFC world. “I am unfamiliar with your plight but you gotta do what you gotta do! Good luck,” wrote the Twitter user becoming an instant celebrity on MMA Twitter.

After being showered with a lot of love and jokes from the MMA community on Twitter following Diaz’s mistake, the Twitter user “@hunter” reacted to this bizarre incident. “The folks that followed me today thinking I work for the UFC are gonna be disappointed when they see my tweets are all about semi-obscure programming problems and casino carpet,” wrote the user.

Not only did Nate throw all the attention on this random person but he also got the official Twitter account of Bellator MMA and Billy Quarantillo also replied to him and made fun of the incident. Bellator wrote, “Hunter, what happens next sir?” and UFC fighter Billy Quarantillo couldn’t help but ask about his next fight. “Are you getting me a fight in May or June??!” he wrote.

There couldn’t be a more Nate Diaz thing in the world than this incident. The fighter still remains to be a fan-favorite after several losses and wins in the UFC for precisely this reason. Diaz and his personality are undefeated.
