Ailin Perez fought Lucie Pudilova in the prelims of UFC Vegas 82. She secured a dominant unanimous decision win over her. She celebrated the win controversially by twerking upside down alongside the cage. As such, many condemned her for the act. Now, she promoted her ‘Only Fans’ account in the post-fight press conference.
A reporter asked Ailin Perez what she thought about Sean Strickland’s comments on the female fighters having only fans’ accounts. She replied respectably that she would take advantage of the opportunities present in the world. Further, she asked the fans to subscribe to her ‘Only Fans’ as it was free. Also, she claimed that her account was dedicated to art and not pornography. Here is what she said (through a translator):
I'm gonna do what I want to do with my life and for anyone who wants to check on my 'OnlyFans', at this moment, it's free, so check it out. And my only fans is not pornography, it's art. And all my followers can prove that by checking it out.Ailin Perez via UFC Vegas 82 post fight press conference
Sean Strickland lately criticized that female fighters were making more money in ‘Only Fans’ than they did in fighting. He also made bizarre statements about women’s MMA. This caused the women fighters to stand up for themselves. As such, Ailin Perez was not fazed about Strickland’s comments.
Ailin Perez has a record of 9 wins and two losses. Although she lost her debut in the UFC, she proved that she belonged here with back-to-back dominant wins against Ashlee Evans-Smith and Lucie Pudilova. She has also captured the attention of the MMA community. They will look forward to the next fight of the Argentinian star.
Ailin Perez was involved in a brawl at the UFC PI before her fight with Lucie Pudilova
Ailin Perez won the bout against Lucie Pudilova in UFC Las Vegas 82. However, she got into a brawl with a fellow fighter while training for her fight at the UFC Performance Institute. This incident happened on November 14, just a few days before her fight. Now, she revealed the reason behind it in her post-fight press conference.
According to MMA Mania, Ailin Perez got into a brawl with UFC bantamweight Joselyne Edwards. In the post-fight press conference, Perez stated that she had criticized one of Edwards’ online fights and didn’t take it well. This led her to unleash an assault on her at the PI when they came face to face. Here is what she said:
This irrelevant lady came up to me after I was opinionated about one of her fights, just talking about the performance that she did. And she came to assault me. She did assault me with the intention to make me pull out of my fight, but I’m sorry, she did not achieve it.Ailin Perez via MMA Mania
However, Ailin Perez’s coach came to the rescue, and she escaped the assault with no major injuries. However, she got a black eye in the altercation, but that didn’t stop ‘Fiona’ from getting into the octagon with Lucie Pudilova. Then, she went on to win her fight too. Now, she’s got two consecutive wins in the UFC.
