Former UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira is known for his scary and serious demeanor both inside and outside the ring. Pereira’s huge physique, tattoos, and tendency to maintain a serious face everywhere is what makes him scary. But his presence on social media, with his friends and family, is completely opposite from his fighting mindset.
Pereira took to his social media to post a video of him walking through Europa Park in Germany. During his walk, Pereira noticed a man that looks like UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. He hilariously said in the video, “Look who I found here, Volkanovski. I met him here in Germany at the park”.
Pereira is good friends with former champion and veteran Glover Texeira. The two Brazilians share a very wholesome relationship and prank each other playfully. This shows the light-hearted side of “Poatan”. Pereira is currently on vacation with his family in Germany after his win against Jan Blachowicz at UFC 291.
Pereira is best known for his kickboxing striking ability. He is a three-time Glory Kickboxing Middleweight Champion and widely regarded as one of the sport’s best strikers. His rivalry with UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is one of the most well-known in the MMA and kickboxing communities.
