Former UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira has made waves in the MMA community since his debut in the UFC. He is one of the most proficient strikers and a skilled knockout artist in the cage. Pereira posted a video of him visiting his childhood favela and distributing multiple cartons of food to the people living there. He revealed that he received a video from a person whose house was highly affected by rain and was full of mud. He also held a free martial arts clinic for children
Pereira’s childhood was difficult. He dropped out of school at a young age to work to support his family. He also struggled with alcohol addiction. However, he found solace in martial arts and began training in kickboxing at the age of 16. He has said that he is grateful for the opportunities that martial arts have given him, and he is determined to use his platform to help others who are struggling.
Pereira has also been very open about his indigenous roots. He has overcome many challenges in his life, and he has achieved great success in martial arts.
