Alex Pereira embraces Israel Adesanya after losing at UFC 287
“Poatan” took on the Last Stylebender for the fourth time at UFC 287. In the previous three fights, Poatan had defeated Adesanya with two of three wins coming by knockout. However, Adesanya got the job done in the fourth fight, knocking Pereira out in the second round.
Following the knockout, Adesanya celebrated by gesturing and shooting three arrows for each loss he suffered against Poatan. Despite all the rivalry and hatred heading into the fight, Pereira interacted with Adesanya backstage in high spirits.
The two fighters embraced and squashed any beef the fighters had from before. It was a wholesome moment in a sport where fighters literally tried to kill each other for fame and glory inside the Octagon.
